I need to figure some stuff out.
I've decided not to renew my picture hosting account. Since I obviously love pictures, I might not be blogging as much. I'll still be here, just have to rework things a little and figure out if I'm going to use a different host. Sorry about little red xs where my normally poorly taken pictures would be. :-)
If I'm still host-less when the lambs come I'll email pics to anyone who wants a peek!
I might decide to go with my own domain, I'm not sure though. I might wait until I actually have wool to share.
Fricka is doing well, even though she's about to burst! I'm so glad it's not me waddling around pregnant. I seriously need to mark rams at breeding time so I have some clue as to when lambing will begin! The rate I'm going no one will believe me when the lamb does come. :-)

Who've you been using as a picture host?
I bet Fricka's uncomfortable, poor thing.
Well you know I want to be on the picture list! I am dying to see the lambs. I bought some 100% Merino and will be spinning that this weekend. I have been working on the body of my sweater so have to finish that before class on Tues. Keep in touch! When we visit my DIL in Milwaukee we should meet and yarn shop and exchange some wool! Don't give up on blogging.
Hi! The easiest thing for you to do is to either go with a company that allows you to install PHP apps in your webspace, to pay for a non-free Flickr, Fotki, or SmugMug account. The cost is minimal per year (Fotki has a $30 special for their Professional accounts right now) and most have unlimited storage. They just have bandwidth limits, which is only a problem if you have tons and tons of people reading your blog. Of course the bandwidth limits are raised substantially if you pay.
If you are tech-savvy at all, you can find domain hosting somewhere. Most hosts will offer you the ability to install PHP-enabled applications in your webspace, and offer you SQL databases (usually 3 or more separate databases). If you have this kind of set-up, you can install Coppermine or Gallery2, which are both photo gallery software. They basically build your photo gallery for you. You can upload photos, organize them, caption them, have multiple sizes available. To see an example, visit http://www.three-elms.com/gfl/gallery2.
If you are interested in the second option, but cost or technical expertise are an issue, please get ahold of me via my personal blog at http://www.healthnut-wannabe.com, and we can probably work something out on our server for you.
Blogger lets you post pictures for free, and there is Hello too...
Flickr is free-- and when you post to your blog with the flickr link it'll remain there forever. (They do have a limit on the # of photos on their site for browsing, its 200-- but you never "lose" the pics when they're blogged.) Their pro pack is only $25 a year as well, which is really not bad. I'm quite happy w/ flickr-- hope you don't give up blogging just b/c of pic hosting!!
PS, Go Fricka!! :)
Like quikeye said, Flickr is free and very easy to use - it has the secret pal stamp of approval! :) I've heard good things about the Blogger service and photobucket too, but I'm a Flickr gal myself.
Yeah, what sherry said. You can upload photos to Blogger, straight from your computer, for free. Hello is a good service, too (also free), although once I figured out how to use the Blogger upload function it seemed a tad duplicative.
But either way, it can be done - and cheaply.
