F is for....Flash Your Stash!!!
This is about 95% of my yarn, quickly and inartistically piled for this pic.
Anne and I were busy today admiring the stash at Yellow Dog Knitting!

This is such a cool little shop, located in beautiful Eau Claire, WI.

We were greeted by happy faces and were soon overwhelmed by the fibery goodness at hand.

I was practically bouncing it was so exciting.
Did I mention this was my first visit to a real yarn shop? :-)

I would love to be able to attend some of the many classes they offer.
These girls knew the best way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Here's a teaser flash of what we bought peeking out of the bags.
I picked up a few things for Callisto's birthday as well as my Knitty SP so most of the goods are top secret!
Wool truly is wonderful, but I think the shop itself is why I had such a great time today. Yellow Dog Knitting has such a warm, comfortable atmosphere. It was the most fun I've ever had shopping!!

How fun!
Hi Elisabeth and Anne!
It was so fun having you at the shop on Saturday! Can't wait to see what beautiful creations your stash turns into!
Looks like you had fun! :0
Yay for a good first visit! Your stash looks great, as well.
Oh, a lovely tabletop-sized stash (my favorite size). And, any sign of the baby sheepies yet?
Geeez, what a fabulous yarn shop! It's too bad you don't live closer. I could sure go for a yarn adventure like that!!
Any lambing news?? I have been sitting on the edge of my seat!
I washed my very first fleece recently. It went well, I think. Since I have no idea what I am doing until someone tells me it's wrong, it's RIGHT! lol! It's Romney from two different sheep. I will share the roving with you once I learn to card it!
Looks like you picked a great place for your first yarn store visit, I can't wait to see what you bought there!! :) And I like the "inartistically piled" look of your stash - it turns the stash into a jumble of yarny goodness. I kind of wish I could go roll around in the pile. But maybe that's just me. ;)
Wow, your first visit to a real yarn store? Very exciting. There's no turning back now!
I've been to Yellow Dog! Dixie has a great shop -- it's probably a good thing I live three hours away...
